Rotax V-twin 799.9 cc EFI engine

This enginge is the most powerful in the industry. The liquid-cooled, single overhead cam power plant has four valves per cylinder, a 46-mm throttle body and two VDO Siemns fuel injectors. The EFI system keeps the Can Am Outlander 800 engine's perfomance at its peak and a progressive throttle ensures power is manageable whether in precise rock crawling or opening it up on the straights.

RS-Type TTI Rear Suspension

Can Am Renegade

With TTI on the Can Am Renegade, the pivot points are ahed of the wheels, the rear wheels pivot up and down, keeping the tread on the ground to improve tracation and handling. Since TTI only moves up and down and never side-to-side like a taditional suspension, the Can Am Renegade moves only in the direction you point it.

Visco-Lok 4x4 With Front Differential

The Visco-Lok constantly monitors front wheel speed and if it detects one wheel spinning faster than its mate, it progressively sends more power to the wheel with better traction. And it does it all without the rider of the Can Am Outlander 800 having to lift a finger.

RS-Type Double A-Arm Front Suspension

Developed in collaboration with Can am pro racers, the RS-type double A-arm front suspension of the Can Am Renegade was designed with the track and trail in mind. Th RS-type dive control geometry provides critical feedback to the rider, and its 8.5 inches of long travel absorbs the high impacts of intense riding.

Full Floorboards with Kick-Up Pegs

The Can Am Renegade has full floorboards with aluminum kick-up foot pegs.

Multi-Function Digital Gauge

This tells the rider of the Can Am Outlander 800 everything in one easy glance. The Can m easy-to-read multi-function gauge is equipped with a digital information center including a speedometer, tachometer(bar graph RPM, bottom bar numerical), odometer, trip meter, gear position, hour meter, enginge hour meter, temperature and engine lights, fule gage and a new clock funtion.

Lightweight Center-Cast Aluminum Wheels

The Can Am Renegade has lightweight center-cast aluminum wheels.

Fade-Resistant HPG Shocks

The Can Am Renegade has fade-resistant high-pressure gas (HPG) shocks with five-way preload adjustability.
